Once we’ve discussed a date, time, and location, you will receive an invoice for the session fee.  The session fee is paid online.  Once I have received your session fee, your appointment is officially booked and you will get a confirmation email.  I am only an email or call away if you have any questions!

A full portrait session lasts 1 hour.  Mini Sessions are 20 Minutes.  Portrait sessions take place mostly outdoors.  With children- the focus here is having FUN!  We will laugh, play, run around, hang out, and be silly! 

This is a great question!  Mixing and matching colors, textures, fabrics, and layers is key.  Accessorize.  Be yourself.  Check out my Pinterest link and blog post to see some outfit ideas.  For group portraits, the key is to put together a fun and cohesive look without looking exactly the same as everyone else in the portrait.  Add a sweater, some accessories, a scarf, a jacket, anything to break up the matchy-ness and help each individual stand out.  You are unique.  Now is the perfect time to show it.  Also, VERY important:  avoid lettering or large logos on clothing.  It's super distracting.  Let's keep the focus on you!

It's pretty awesome to incorporate some of your likes, passions, and hobbies into your session!  Bring anything that speaks volumes about what kind of person you are...play a sport?  Play an instrument?  Have a cool collection?  Let's be true to who you are and include some of these things into your session!  Just be sure to mention any ideas you have during the scheduling process so that we can accommodate the idea when choosing a location and time.

I’m just as excited to share them with you as you are to see them!  In most cases, your images will be delivered to you within two weeks of the session date.  Images are delivered via on online portrait gallery. Follow the link in your email and you can download the high resolution images directly from the gallery. A print release is also given to you with recommended printing options.

ABSOLUTELY!  We love including pets into our sessions.  Just be sure to let us know beforehand so that we can choose a location that allows pets!
